The Coldwell Banker Commercial brand held its annual Global Conference from March 18 – 20 in Denver, Colorado. Coldwell Banker Commercial SVP and Managing Director Dan Spiegel hosted the opening General Session and set the tone for the Global Conference centered on connecting, learning, and celebrating. Business Performance Coach and Founder of Next Level Business Craig Robbins closed out the general session with a keynote address focused on the ten habits of top producers worldwide.
CBC Owners and Managing Brokers attended the Leadership Summit, an exclusive event for CBC affiliate company leaders. Each participant explored growth strategies unique to their business and market that, when implemented, can help them achieve substantial, profitable growth over the next 12 months.
Attendees who play a role in CBC affiliate company-wide marketing had the opportunity to join the Marketing Summit, a separate session for marketers, where they had the chance to share their wish list of key features they would like to see included in the new local sites once they are rolled out later this year. Participants also received a host of new brand marketing resources, including updated identity standards, new recruiting and retention campaign materials, and much more.
Networking is a key component of the conference, providing plenty of opportunities for connecting. During day one, attendees participated in either dedicated networking sessions for those in our network who specialize in Office, Retail, Land, and Industrial assets; or they took part in the speed networking session to meet a diverse group of their colleagues. Capping off day one, after a welcome reception hosted by The CCIM Institute, attendees joined in the evening meetups, taking their networking offsite. While day two of the conference was devoted to learning, CBC professionals still had opportunities to network during the breakfast sponsored by Reonomy, the lunch sponsored by Placer.AI, and in the networking lounge.
Global Conference delivered in the learning offerings. There were close to 20 different topics to choose from, including negotiations, effective communications, marketing, social media, research, products, Real Estate Tax, and more.
During the closing General Session, the CBC operations team joined together to announce and recognize the 2023 Coldwell Banker Commercial Nomination Award Winners. Wrapping up the event, retired Air Force Brigadier General and Afterburner Lead Speaker Bobbi “Flash” Doorenbos delivered a high-energy keynote address taking a deep dive into how a fighter pilot mindset can help move your business forward towards flawless execution. Professionals closed out Global Conference with an evening reception celebration sponsored by CoStar at Bigsby’s Folly! A fitting close to this year’s event.
Dan Spiegel stated, “History is a series of events that results in forward progress.” While the 2024 CBC Global Conference has passed, we look forward to seeing the resulting forward progress.
